Over the past decade, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Jim Kubiak in mentoring numerous quarterbacks that went on to play at both the scholarship and non-scholarship levels.  An outstanding teacher of the game, as evidenced by the sheer number of successful signal callers he's advised, it's also noteworthy to see how Jim has been able to communicate through different forums.  

I've witnessed him improve high school quarterbacks by providing in-season instruction with a team and their staff.  I've seen him help quarterbacks get better via one-on-one workouts.  Even more impressively, I've watched him adapt his business to the future by helping players improve without ever spending time together in person, offering a unique online/on-field routine that can be perfected in a different region, state or across the country. The proof of this last concept is evident in William & Mary commit Joey Tomasso, a fantastic prospect that saw his completion percentage grow from  55.5% as a sophomore to 62.7% his junior year, culminating in a senior campaign where he connected on 72.8% of his throws, including 43 TDs against just 3 INTs, while leading Waverly (NY) High School to its first ever state title . . . all via Zoom and camera phone  video from over 150 miles away!

Jim's work continues to this day with student athletes both inside and outside of my program.  I can think of two recent high school QBs not in my program - and one of them active today - that required extensive improvement with their footwork, decision-making, etc.  Upon learning that the active signal caller was a relatively recent signee with Jim, I knew he was in good hands.  Just this week, I actually witnessed this player at work over two different days and had to smile, recognizing this D-III prospect just six months ago is likely about to field scholarship-level opportunities.  The other recent QB?  He's already performed well at the FCS level, earning quality minutes and a national honor during his redshirt freshman season!

The above should help in any evaluation of what Jim provides a QB looking to make that next step.  Even more important to me, however, is the high character with which he will guide the signal caller.  A Naval Academy graduate, Jim understands hard work, goals, teamwork, attention to detail, and family.  He's a great mentor who will assist in making the student athlete a better man.

He also helped me get a better understanding for the game. During the season I was told that I was unrecognizable, the improvement we made together in just a couple of months was great.
